You want to build your buff beam and towers on the railing of the stairs to not aggro enemies
upgrade your golem directly in front of your towers since it gets aggro'd by 2 sides and can die pretty quick
i only upgrade beams and golems for solo play, might need a dedicated upgrader for 2+ players
