This build worked out great for me. Not even boosted with a monk though most stats for my builders are 2k+ except apprentice.

It worked well. I made it to wave 25 solo NMHC - but didn't quite finish the wave. The biggest problem I had was stuff coming in the back where the single physical beam is without anything else.
